A delegation led by Prof. Zhao Zuobin, President of Wuchang University of Technology, visited the City University of Macau (CityU Macau). Prof. Jun Liu, Rector of CityU Macau warmly received the group. The guests visited the campus environment and teaching facilities of the University. The two parties held discussions on talent cultivation, mutual visits of leaders, cooperation in scientific research, and further explored future cooperation between the two universities.

During the meeting, the two parties focused on the issue of joint training of talents and discussed the feasibility of exchange programmes for undergraduates and recommended direct admission for postgraduates. The two parties also exchanged views on the issues of teacher exchange programmes, sending visiting scholars, and recommending teachers from Wuchang University of Technology to serve as master’s and doctoral supervisors at CityU Macau. In addition, the two parties agreed to conduct mutual visits of leaders regularly to strengthen communications between the two universities. Both parties preliminarily agreed on applying for the National Natural Science Foundation of China to give full play to the advantages of the two universities and to promote cooperation in scientific research.
