On 7 November, Dr. Pedro Márquez, Vice President and Dr. Steven Chen, Greater China Chief Representative of Royal Roads University from Canada, visited CityU, to further discuss about the details of intercollegiate projects between the two universities.  Our Rector Prof. Shu Guang Zhang, Academic Registrar Dr. Sean Li, Executive Associate Dean of Open Institute and Vice Executive Associate Dean of Faculty of International Tourism and Management Dr. Chau Ka Yin, Program Director of Faculty of International Tourism and Management, Dr. Chan Suk Ha sincerely welcomed the two guests.

Royal Roads University (RRU) is a profound Higher Education Institution of Canada, its edge-cutting teaching environment and sustainable development of disciplines are world widely renowned.  RRU is also a member of globally most authoritative accreditation organization of business school-The American nationality business association. The engaging discussions between the two universities had covered the areas of credit transfers for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate, collaborations of Asia Pacific Investment and Trade project, academic exchanges, and CityU’s student summer short-term study program to Canada etc.

Dr. Pedro suggested the visit to CityU had been extremely meaningful in adopting practicable measures of cooperation projects as well as laying a basis for launching more globalized projects in future.  Rector Zhang has conveyed his gratitude to the visits of RRU’s delegations, he appreciated RRU’s continuous interests and support in forging close collaborations with CityU, he also affirmatively indicated his support in building interactive and multidirectional cooperation relationship between the two universities in near future.
