City University of Macau (CityU) hosted an international student and exchange student meet-up session, bringing together over 60 in-bound and out-bound students, as well as international students coming from various countries to share their unique cultural learning and exchange experiences. The event aimed to foster cross-cultural exchange and was organized by the Office of Global Affairs. Rector Jun Liu welcomed the students, emphasizing the importance of embracing this unique opportunity to explore diverse cultural environments.
During the gathering, students shared their experiences and insights, highlighting Macao’s rich multicultural landscape as a valuable learning platform. They discussed their academic journeys, cultural interactions, and future career aspirations. Rector Liu encouraged them to actively engage with local culture and forge friendships, setting three key expectations: share experiences, challenge themselves, and immerse in the local culture. The event reflected a vibrant atmosphere where friendships blossomed, and students expressed gratitude for the support from the University.
CityU boasts an international network with higher education institutions worldwide. This initiative aims to provide students with diverse educational experiences, ultimately preparing them to become globally aware and culturally competent individuals.

I’m from Russia. I find Macau fascinating due to the blend of Chinese and Portuguese cultures. I visited several churches, and the ambiance of these places deeply impressed me. CityU is a university that emphasizes preparation for both events and study. It's incredibly beautiful here, and I feel fortunate to be a part of it.
