Call for Application-University of Granada ERASMUS+ Programme ICM Student Mobility for Studies


ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME AND UGR MOBILITY PROJECT

For 30 years now, the European Union’s Erasmus programme has enabled over four million European students to spend part of their study programme at another higher education institution with full recognition at their home institution. The Erasmus+ programme for the period 2014-2020, following the also successful Erasmus Mundus Action 2 programme, opens up these opportunities to students and staff from other parts of the world, known as “Partner Countries”.

 

The University of Granada (UGR) submitted an application for international credit mobility consisting in a mobility project with sets of mobility flows between UGR and its partner institutions worldwide. The results of the selection process confirm the success of the University of Granada, which has been awarded with 559 mobility flows in 39 countries under the 2019 Call. The number of granted students for City University of Macau is as follows:

*Erasmus+ students are exempt from fees for tuition, registration, examinations, and charges for access to laboratories or libraries at the receiving institution. Accommodation and small fees for insurance or student union membership may still apply.

 

Application

Application Period: Until 12:00 PM of 24 Oct 2019 (for Undergraduate)

                               Until 12:00 PM of 20 Nov 2019 (for PhD)

 

Applicants have to send the following materials to Global Exchange Office through email: oga@cityu.mo for initial reviews:

 

  1. “CityU Exchange Students Application Form” (Please click and download)
  2. “CityU Recommendation Form for Exchange Students” (Please click and download)
  3. Transcripts (Students can provide the screenshot from iCan and the students name should be shown)
  4. Personal CV (English)
  5. Personal Statement in English (Please describe your academic background, motivation and study plan in UGR)
  6. English Proficiency Test Certificate (e.g. IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC and etc.)

 

*For doctoral (PhD), in addition to the materials mentioned above, applicants still need to provide more documents as follows:

1. Research Plan (English)

2. Pre-admission letter, signed by the coordinator of the doctoral programme in UGR

Selection

Global Exchange Office will be responsible to review and evaluate the application materials submitted by the applicants, based on the following criteria:

  1. Academic background and merit
  2. Relevance of academic background, motivation and study plan described in personal statement
  3. Personal CV
  4. Language skills
  5. Interview (if applicable; whether interview will be conducted depends on the number of applicants)

 

Global Exchange Office will announce the enrollment result of undergraduate on 28th Oct 2019. The selected students need to complete the online application procedures on UGR website following the instructions upon receiving the email confirmation.
