A delegation from Qingdao University, led by President Xia Dongwei, visited City University of Macau (CityU) on yesterday (23). They were warmly received by Rector Jun Liu and Vice Rector Zhou Wanlei. The delegation had the opportunity to explore the campus environment and teaching facilities, gaining a deeper understanding of CityU’s development. During the meeting, Vice Rector Zhou Wanlei provided an introduction to CityU's history and highlighted the institution's academic strengths in data science and computer science. President Xia Dongwei shared an overview of Qingdao University's development. Moving forward, the two universities are firmly committed to expanding their collaboration. Their focus will be on enhancing disciplinary construction, facilitating faculty and student exchange visits, and fostering interdisciplinary professionals in key areas such as data science, artificial intelligence, computer science, art studies, and design.
