Vice Rector Zhou Wanlei attends high-end forum on digital innovation, CityU and Chang’an University sign MoU with on strategic cooperation


Professor Zhou Wanlei, vice rector of the City University of Macau (CityU) was invited to attend the high-end forum on digital innovation recently. Vice Rector Zhou delivered a keynote speech titled “Trends and Applications in Data Science and AI.” He also presented among the guests of honor to inaugurate the cyber range testing base at the Chang’an University and the Fang Class. In addition, the participants also witnessed the inaugurations of the School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and the strategic research partnership of the large transportation model.

At his presentation, Vice Rector Zhou delved into the “Data Science and AI,” “Future Trends and Significant Applications,” and “Building Metropolitan University supported by Big Data and Smart Technologies.” He further enriched his analysis by citing examples from his own research achievements.

The next day, Vice Rector Zhou Wanlei was invited to visit Chang’an University, where he was warmly received by Vice President Fan Wen. Vice Rector Zhou Wanlei and Vice President Fan Wen signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation on behalf of their respective universities. Going forward, the two universities will engage in comprehensive cooperation in research, academic exchange, and student exchange. During his visit, Vice Rector Zhou Wanlei toured the School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Huang Guanwen, director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, and Gao Tao, associate dean of the School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, also attended the MoU signing ceremony.
