Programme Introduction
The Global Impact Startup Challenge (GISC) 2026 is a week-long immersive entrepreneurship bootcamp organized by the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), taking place from 10 to 16 May 2026 in Singapore. Designed for undergraduate and postgraduate students worldwide, GISC brings together aspiring changemakers to co-create innovative solutions addressing real-world social challenges.
Centered on the theme of Gerontology – Ageing Solutions and Opportunities, the programme aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being. Participants will engage in a hands-on startup sprint, forming cross-cultural teams to develop, validate, and pitch scalable business ideas that improve the lives of seniors.
Hosted within SUSS’s vibrant ecosystem of social innovation, GISC leverages the Lean Startup Methodology to guide participants through rapid ideation, customer discovery, and prototype development. With mentorship from industry experts and exposure to Singapore’s dynamic startup landscape, GISC serves as a launchpad for globally minded entrepreneurs committed to driving positive societal impact.
